Santana’s founder, Bob Thompson is the mastermind behind the engineering of this “dare I say” truck. Bob sketched out this wild concept on a cocktail napkin back in the early 1980s. Determination and an innovative thought process turned his napkin concept into reality. SANTANIMAL’s massive size and wild concept had this unique monster truck performing up and down the west coast for nearly a decade.
Deemed “The Wheelie Monster with a Twist!” This 1985 Ford F-250 is like no other. In May of 1986, Four-Wheeler Magazine published their interview with Bob and his incredible one-of-a-kind monster truck. Capable of doing 360-degree turns within its own wheelbase, all while doing a rear wheel stand, is how this massive beast of a truck earned its nickname “The Wheelie Monster.”
